Finally!!!
I finally got my PC fixed! Yay!The problem was that the power supply stopped working, so we had to pay money we don't really have to fix it, but what are 'ya gonna do? :p
These 2 weeks were torture! But am glad to be back!

I'm a geek :p
I talked with my uncle over the phone again, which was good. Mom went to see him on Wednesday, and he thought i was going with her, and was disappointed when he didn't see me. So hopefully i can goo see him on Saturday. His medical insurance won't cover all 21 days in rehad, so he's being released on Saturday. We were planning on bringing him here with us, but his girlfriend said she wanted to take him home, so that's what we're going to do.-----
Now onto other news...
Who gets excited when books arrive through the mail? I DO! :p
I joined one of those book clubs, and the introductory offer was 3 free books, and i just couldn't pass up free books. Hehehe. So yesterday my three books arrived, which were The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons & another thriller, that i don't really know much about called Mary Mary. I already ordered two other books, and am waiting for them. I ordered Wicked (the basis of the musical) & Memoirs of a Geisha.
Now to the WTF? moment of the day. I was checking out my YesAsia newsletter and saw that there's a chinese edition of Brokeback Mountain that includes a second disc with more special features, photo stills from the movie, even a chinese version of the short story. It even comes in a denim cover!
Now, how come we get the half-assed-thrown-together-in-five-minutes version of the DVD?

Uhm...
I finally got to talk with my uncle on the phone, that made me happy, and i'm sure it made him happy too. He sounded ok, though i know he must be having a hard time with the therapy and everything. I bet he feels alone in that place. It sucks that it's so far away. It if were closer we could go see him almost everyday. He asked when we were going to visit him. That broke my heart. I can't wait to go see him.On other news, my mom is offically out of a job, since yesterday they officially closed down the hospital she worked in. She's kind of depressed about it, since she worked there for 17 years.
On top of everything else it seems all things decided to break at the same time. We have so many things that need to be fixed, we don't even know where to begin.

On a more light-hearted note, i finally got my mom to watch Memoirs of Geisha & Brokeback Mountain with me this past weekend. That was difficult task. I spent months telling her to watch those films with me. But to get her to watch movies that aren't comedy or action is almost impossibe. I swear, she must have been a man in another life, hehehe. But she watched and she liked, so yay.

So, I have good news. My uncle is doing better, he has a positive attitude and his medical insurance is going to cover the rehabilitation home he has to go to.Mom's going to go see him tomorrow. He's already been released from the hospital and is already in the rehab home.
Hmmm...
I really don't know what else to write. I guess I just wanted to post something 'cause I hadn't done so in a few days.
